Christina Aguilera is back on the charts with her latest single, “Keeps Getting Better.” The track, which appears on her new greatest hits album, features the lyrics “Some days I’m a super bitch…next day I’m your super girl.” Aguilera says she wears both labels proudly these days, adding that she’s turned the term bitch into something positive: “If that’s what I’m going to be called for being assertive and knowing who I am and what I want out of life, then so be it. So for me it’s about turning that word into a positive and almost being a split personality that’s able to do it all and conquer it all as a woman.”The idea of a “super girl” meant more to Aguilera after giving birth to her first baby, Max, earlier this year. She tells us what it means to her: “After having my own child, it’s pretty amazing what the female can go through and what females are capable of. I was in complete awe, and I had a new respect for females in general. That whole experience just blew me away. So in one essence of the world, yeah we’re super girl. We’re superwoman. We do it all. We give the love. We’re the life source and support.”

Aguilera plans to release a new studio album next year.

She’s performing at the American Music Awards on November 23rd.

One Response to “Christina Aguilera Considers Herself A ’super Girl’”

I love her.. the way she carries herself and her way to turn everything into a positive. I sometimes get down if there to much negativty around me but I learned to just ignore it and turn the other cheek. she’s made me a strong woman. My idol!!
